McKenzie River Fishing Guide for Spring Salmon, Summer Steelhead and Trout

McKenzie River Steelhead Trout

McKenzie River Trout

Our McKenzie River trout trips can utilize fly fishing gear or conventional gear.  I'm happy to provide both types of gear if you want to experience more than one option.

Mckenzie River Spring Chinook

McKenzie River Spring Salmon

Spring Salmon from the deep and cold  McKenzie River is an Oregon delicacy.  Widely considered to be the most desirable of all West Coast salmon the McKenzie Springer arrives in late April and is a great option through July.

Mckenzie River Summer Steelhead. Angler is Ferris Tolman of Fishing with Ferris Guide Service

McKenzie River Summer Steelhead

The McKenzie River Summer Steelhead is one of the Northwest's most hard fighting and sought after fish.  We fish for these chrome bullets below the hatchery where they were born.  They can be targeted in a number of ways from swinging flies to drifting bait.  Give me a call and I'll let you know if the fish are in and biting.
